The area bordering the north side Bay Ridge and the south part of Sunset Park is prime example of abysmal urban planning.

The Gowanus Expressway cuts through that sad part of the neighborhood and leaves a scar of a community filled with remnants of a neighborhood that once was and a time that has forever passed.
