National Grid said they would come around between 8:30am and 2:00pm. I waited until 3:00pm. They showed up at 3:30pm. Rode my bike to Kos Kaffe. Had pizza at Two Boots. Called up National Grid. 30 minute call to tell me that someone would call me tomorrow morning about setting up an appointment. Little kid in a stroller rolled by and enthusiastically waved at me; the only crack of humane sunlight in a miserable series of bureaucratic events.
